Weekend Rewind

Well I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July. Mine turned out not too shabby at all. We ended up going over to Tampa on Sunday and watching the fireworks over in the Channelside area. The rest of the night is somewhat a mishmosh of happenings that I will state in the oh so lovely bulleted form:

-death by Jamaican Rum shots- that shit will get you drunk hella fast

-cocktails in what looked like a vampires' living room

-getting down and dirty on the dancefloor while being videotaped. Yea. It seemed cool at the time, now umm, not so much since I have no idea who those people were. Id like to think they were a Christian group vacationing and just wanted a few snapshots of the night. Yea, that would be ok.

-walking across the channelside area, in pj's, and grabbing a cab to what we NOW know is the "worst possible part of town", where we grabbed some food as the numerous drug deals commenced around us. Thank God we never got out the car.

-coming back to the apartment and seeing Chase in a little naked ball on the couch. We laughed as we left him there and hopped into his ultra comfy bed.

Yea so it was eventful, and worth the drive. Good times. Brian's movie star pose will be my pic of the week, come this evening when I can post it. Try to contain yourselves until then.

Aside from that, the rest of the weekend was nice and relaxing.

Not sure if anyone caught the Women's Wimbledon finals on Saturday, but Maria Sharapova kicked ass to win the title. It was a good match and a well deserved victory. She's like Kournikova, except she wins.....oh and shes not a self-righteous bitch.....yet.
In my "dork" news... apparently I was misinformed this weekend when I was told the new "star" of Jeopardy had finally lost out. Anyone who watches this show will know about Ken Jennings, a contestant that has been on the show now for about a month, winning over 3/4 a million dollars. He DIDN'T lose, and won again last night. You rock Ken.

Well, its about that time in which I grab some food and read CNN.com for an hour. 21 days until my last day of work...let the drumroll begin.
