Things are falling right into place

I can see it unfolding already, and its going to be a great summer, I just know it. The Shins concert was awwwesome!! Man they really played well and James Mercer's voice just makes you want to love him. Earlier that day my roommate and I headed out for what was suppose to be just a walk along the hudson but ended up being 7.5 miles of walking. We charted it when we came back and we covered the entire southern tip of Manhattan, from Christopher street down. Needless to say my ass is as tight as a brick right now.

My mom comes to visit tomorrow so I am in spring cleaning mode for these next two days. I am thrilled for her to see where I live and explore the area because I know she will love it. For any NYC'ers looking for something to do on Saturday, come out the Revlon Run/Walk 5k for Women. Its going to be a great event and hopefully it won't rain. The money raised benefits all women's cancers. After that there is the Upper West Side Bar Tour, which I am sorry to miss, but I doubt my mom would enjoy it as much as I would.

I really love not working right now (as all of you at your work computers cringe)- yea, but I've been where you are and I didn't care for it one bit, at least not now. So, my solution was to borrow a shitload of money and move here with the hopes I will land an awesome job and have an amazing time. Well the amazing time part can be checked off. I might be getting a part time job at school working as a grad assistant to the asst. dean, so that could be cool, especially since its paid. Truthfully though, I dont know how realistic it is for this summer though because I am traveling somewhere every freaking month. Next month I'm going to Fl, in June I am going to Hilton Head Island, and then in July I'm going to San Diego & Vegas. I am so excited about San Diego and Vegas. I have never been to San Diego before, but have always thought it was so beautiful from what I had seen. Now that my good friend Brandon has a beach house there, it would be crazy for us not to go. Plus being in Vegas with 3 of my closest college friends will be so incredibly fun.

No real news on the guy front other than they confuse the hell out of me, but what else is knew. I met up with some friends at The Black Door in Chelsea on Friday, one of the friends being a guy I worked with at NBC that I assured myself was too young for me (22 versus my almost 26). Yea well it didn't take long for the crush to start all over again. I can't tell if he is interested or not because he shows so many mixed signals. Damn guys. If he doesn't get in touch with me in the next week or so I am hoping the whole "out of sight out mind" thing will work nicely.

Poll- What is the best Broadway show you have been to? My mom wants to go see one while she is here, so Im looking for suggestions. We've already seen Phantom of the Opera, Fosse, & Cabaret- so something besides those. I was thinking Mamma Mia or Wicked......
